Naeun leans her head on his shoulder while they talk.

Minjae smiled at Naeun as they took a seat on his couch. The weekend was almost finished, but they had spent it well going to the malls and catching some late-Christmas shows here and there accompanied by hot chocolate and fruit crepes.

❝ crepes with ice cream for winter are the best invention ever, ❞ Minjae stretched out like a cat, arms before him as he curled up into himself until he heard a satisfying ‘crack’. ❝ did i tell you about the drama i was hired for? ❞

Minjae grabbed a blanket neatly folded beside him and covered the both of them as they settled more comfortably into the couch, feet up under their weight while the electric chimney did its job. ❝ i will be writing an adaptation script for a new drama next year, it’s going to be about a prince and a princess, ❞ he told her, all too knowing it was the type of stories that Naeun liked to indulge in.

❝ it is supposed to be about the moon rabbit prince coming down to Earth after being disowned by his family for not taking his duties seriously; however, he will meet the reincarnation of a previous moon royal to whom he can’t speak to. ❞

As Minjae continues with the story, the apartment grew warmer until he felt Naeun leaning on his shoulder. She had been smiling during his retelling of the story, but now she looked pensive. Minjae turned slightly and opened his arms to welcome her into them. ❝ come on, lean on me properly, it can’t be comfortable for your neck to stay like that. ❞ Once Naeun was leaning against his chest, his hands caressed her hair. ❝ what’s wrong? you grew quiet suddenly. ❞

Luna helped Jaejoong to the edge of her bath tub. She sighed as she let him go to grab a towel to wipe some of the blood off of his face. “What happened?” The kitsune grabbed a towel and placed it under the water then wrung out the excess of water. She went back over to Jaejoong and gently wiped the drying blood off of his lips then made her way to his cheek and eye. “Actually, you don’t have to tell me. That’s none of my business,” she said as she wiped the drying blood.

She looked at him as she finished wiping the blood off of his face and placed the bloodied towel on the counter. The fox grabbed a small towel, damped it, and handed it to him, “to clean your bloodied hands.” She leaned against the edge of the bath tub, “Your face is back to normal even though you looked sexy with the blood on your face. I’m going to order some food. Do you want anything?”

Luna smiled as she finished lighting the last of the candles for their romantic bath together. She sprinkled a couple of rose petals before switching off the water. “Are you ready?” The kitsune removed her silk robe and carefully climbed into the bath. Her fingers gliding over the top and kept her eyes on Taecyeon’s face.

She moved a bit when she watched him make his way to join her. “This is a great way to spend time together and to end a wonderful weekend,” she told him. She gently ran her fingers through his hair before kissing him softly.

It was a habit that Luna had developed with Jaejoong after they began to mess around. A habit where she’d kiss him whenever she saw him (without anyone around), and a habit before she left. She glanced at her watch after the two had finished dessert, metaphorically and literally, “I have to go. I need to be up early tomorrow for a breakfast with some friends,” she told him. She leaned over to press a quick kiss to his lips before climbing out of bed to put on her clothes. The kitsune hummed in thought as she reached down to pick up her bra, “Unless, you want me to spend the night and I tell them I’m running a little late.”

it’s loud– it’s crowded, it’s honestly apart of silver’s life at this point. things are a little more… sparkly, the drinks seem to be on a different level, the crowd-goers seem to be glowing. he doesn’t question it. he weaves his way through, knocking back glasses from strangers, and in the midst of it, from someone who has had too much to drink or not enough or just did not want any more–

“do you want the rest of this?”

and he turns, his foot catches, he happens to slip a tiny bit. instinctively, his hands reach out, one to catch her around the waist, one to hold her drink-holding hand steady. and his lips are suddenly on someone else’s– for just a split second. he pauses before he straightens up, gently pulling her with him before letting go.

“oops–” he blinks at her, before holding both of his hands up in surrender. “that was supposed to be a yes. yeah- yep, i’ll take it. please don’t report me.”
