you'd always been curious about acting. at most you've done a singular commercial where you played yourself - but now you've got the chance to really flex those skills. you're excited to try your first acting role, even if you are dealing with your ex, the director. now that he's been killed, your relationship with him will be coming out, and no one will look at you the same way again. they say it's always the ex.

the comedian. when you heard the comedian would be on this project, you were disgusted. when you found out it was the director who insisted they join, the feeling compounded. with both moral reprehension and a disgust for the company they keep, it's unlikely you two will get along - even if the comedian is trying to use their knowledge of your past with the director as leverage.
the up-and-comer. they're a fresh face in the industry, and you can't help but feel protective knowing how much they look up to the director. you want to provide a guiding light without being outwardly derisive toward their new idol, but it's getting more difficult as you get to know them better and begin worrying about their similarities.
the (barely) living legend. sure, you'd heard of them before - they probably were a stunt double to one of your a-list actor friends! but something pulled you toward the (barely) living legend at the cast party, but now you're worried they're your only alibi. they've been real strange since the director has died - maybe you're supposed to be their alibi? a one-time hangout at a party seems to have turned into a commitment.
