Observe: Elias’ intimidation tactics, cookie edition

For context: every year, a friend of mine hosts a gingerbread decorating party, and I always attend. We typically end up making some fandom-themed cookies. This year, we made a gingerbread fellowship of the ring, and I also made a Mr Spider (crudely edited into the comic). And then, well, this idea came to me.

Oh, also: the three weird spikes in the third panel are supposed to be the spider’s legs peeking out of a doorframe i didn’t draw, but now I realize they look like upward facing arrows. Oops. Now it reads as

*Jonathan’s Stress Levels sharply increased!

Which i’m kinda here for ngl

Day 1: Recording

Going through the different prompts for TMA-tober! Ill do some of them when inspiration comes, but I have no desire to set myself up for failure and draw all of them. I wanna have fun not stress myself out! I did one for the Leitner day but I hated how it came out lol

Details:

-the statement is Case#0122204, the Anglerfish, by Nathan Watts. I wrote it in tiny letters.

-the tape recorder has a small spiderweb on it... someone is listening in already here ;)

-the papers on the bottom shelf are meant to be loose statements he hasn't organized yet

-the Eyes in the background are peeking in, but are faded because Jon is so new. He is still the new archivist, and not yet The Archivist

I love listening to paranormal/cryptid/etc stories read out/reacted to by ppl who dont believe in any of that stuff

day 22! I wasn't who to choose for this day as one: day 26's prompt is fav character and I have 3 favs (Jon, Elias and martin) all of which are avatars so I just chose Jon because- the one i chose for day 26 (I've pre-planned some drawings) would make it so I would've drawn jon several times in a row. so he gets to go here instead.

I just did an expression study (the first one i did in September) because I felt like it. I wont be posting the rest on the days i do them after friday due to personal life stuff

(edit: they dont look simular for any nefarious reason my art is just genuinely that inconsistent-. Also note there was a difference in time taken to draw these)
