Lol okay so I’m about to graduate with a bachelor’s in pre-med Biochemistry and I’ve worked with 99% acetic acid in the lab. I’m pretty sure 99% acetic acid would taste SOUR af and it smells strong af and NASTY so I do not believe that guy would keep eating the ketchup with that shit in it. I’m also fairly certain that even 99% acetic acid wouldn’t kill you (weak af acid, literally the stuff in vinegar), especially in small doses over a period of time (unless this dude literally just chugs ketchup straight but the bottle was still like half full so eh).

The MSDS safety sheet on acetic acid says that high concentrations can cause some serious eye/skin/respiratory/esophageal irritation, but that would def not kill you right away (if at all), and it would burn like hell, so again, I don’t see this dude continuing to eat it after a taste.
