you know, in that episode where the shapeshifter is impersonating mulder and goes over to scully's place and opens with asking her why they don't really talk, my first thought was wtf is he talking about but then in subsequent episodes i really paid attention to how even when talking about the most personal shit, all they do is deflect, depersonalize, and intellectualize their feelings in that order. and it's just so crazy because they'll trust the other with their health, their safety, their future, their freedom, and their damn lives but can't extend that trust to their feelings. it's insanity. i'm obsessed
I really wish we got a callback to the Adam/Amanda plot line in CM.
First of all, I found the whole concept of an alter committing a crime that the host wasn’t aware of to be fascinating.
Also, I love the actor Jackson Rathbone who plays Adam and I feel from observing his online presence that he is just freaky enough to reprise his role in Criminal Minds: Evolution if asked.
I guess Reid isn’t there though, so it wouldn’t be as interesting, but I’d still like an update on his journey and if Amanda ever let Adam back out.
there are some times where you really realize that acting is a capital S Skill and some people can really Act, you know? Small Potatoes fake Mulder is one of them. incredible
ngl I straight-up forgot that Sam and Dean are in this show until they popped up at the end of the episode
