CP: I mean, that is why you are an Olympic girlie. For those watching, her eyes are just lit up. Like, she is so happy that for three weeks she was able to cheer for the USA because this girl just loves herself some Olympics.

TH: I do, and I, you know, I am a kid that wrote down, as well as winning, you know, World Cups, like wrote down when I was little, like I wanted to be in the Olympics for track and field. You know?

CP: So sweet. And Wimbledon, I remember.

TH: And Wimbledon, but we're talking about the Olympics today, Christen.

CP: Okay, sorry. Sorry.

TH: Stay focused. Always have to tell her that.

I think it's really sweet in Once More with Feelings how Spike tries his best to get Buffy to leave before he breaks into song. He's been so careful with her since she came back to life, even before knowing she had been in heaven. Never pushing to hard or demanding anything. Just trying to give her the support and space her friends were denying her.

He wanted to protect her from his feelings breaking out, just like he'd been trying to protect her since she came back. He knew she wasn't ready for them and he didn't want to add that pressure on top of everything else she's dealing with. So he tried to get her to leave, but then the song took over and it was too late. Honestly he's just so incredibly sweet so far this season, he knows how lucky he is even to have her back and he just wants to be part of her life and doesn't want to risk being excluded again.

ok shawn trying to fix juliet’s relationship with her dad?? he just wants her to be loved in the way he never was by his dad.. he wants to believe broken things can be fixed; he wants to know that childhood can be restored by forgiveness. but the truth is that it can’t take back everything wrong and it’s just actions inspired by regret over what has already happened. no he isn’t right to meddle in juliet’s business that doesn’t involve him, but I can’t help but feel sad that I know shawn would kill for an opportunity to forgive his dad, if he would only apologize. but he won’t.
