Lowkey I am getting some intense cuteness aggression from reid in this episode. He's literally the messiest he's ever looked, very obviously on the verge of tears, sooooooo submissive and sad... i love him.

After Missy raised the Doctor's hopes of having found Gallifrey in "Death In Heaven" and then he discovered she'd lied, he was so traumatized he pounded on the TARDIS console until it was seriously damaged. It must have been a terrible inner battle whether to believe the Master this time, when he told her that Gallifrey was "nuked." This time, she would have been hoping he'd lied; when it turns out he told her the truth, her reaction this time is to fling the disc the message was carried on across the room, then to withdraw into herself. [x]

Martin Wells: Considering he was a one off character who had the entire episode centered on him, he did a great job carrying it and making you care. Really compelling.
