REENTRY 🚒 9-1-1 Season 9 Episode 4
What the fuck do you mean that it's inconsequential that the Trix swapped out their trophy with Damian? This is a fucking insult to Griselda's character! She would never be so careless about her students' safety and Damien was very much endangered. Which she already said was against the rules. At least the original show didn't create plot armor for the Trix' insanely sloppy approach (at least this early on).
Here I thought that we'd have Bloom and Icy having to do the last part of the test together. They are pushing Bloom and Flora as besties a lot more than Bloom and Stella. But I have to say that I'm not mad about getting Stella and Tecna friendship crumbs. Diaspro and Darcy might just be the biggest shocker here.
I hate what they've done with the Domino lore. First of all, the original idea was 100% for Marion to have been the wielder of the Dragon Fire and, therefore, ruler of Domino but they've gone and changed that (though to be fair the later seasons of the og show already did that). Second of all, really? An evil advisor? I hope this isn't their new Valtor because I'm going to fucking riot.
But hey, what's this? The key to Omega? I'm perking up... Well, kind of. I'm not sure Icy has thought this plan through (and when are Darcy and Stormy ever going to contribute anything to the evil schemes? They look like Icy's cheerleaders.) Why would all the villains, sent to Omega, who have already probably tried to conquer the universe in order to get sent there, listen to three high school students? The Army of Decay was not only cooler, but also since they were magical creatures powered by the magic that the Trix had, they had to obey the Trix. The same cannot be said about criminals with their own minds. What's your pitch, Icy? 'Cause you're gonna need a hell of a good one!
They really made the Trix losers from the very start, huh? I don't mind Darcy actually crushing on Riven but why is she being so lame about it (not her calling him a bad boy when we absolutely haven't seen anything about his character to confirm that)? She was still a bad bitch in the original even when she was interested in him. Bring back the Trix being badass ffs! Plus, if Vexius can just manhandle them with his magic like that and he can straight up appear at their dorm, what does he even need them for? He can just steal Bloom's power himself.
