There was exactly two times a year that Jongjin donned hanbok; one was for the Korean New Year, and the other was for the Jeju Summer Festival. It wasn't something he had to do, but growing up his parents had always donned him in the traditional dress for it, and it was a habit it liked to keep. Of course there had been the period of time where everyday after school he would be helped into one of the old style hanboks by his parents - the ones with the heavier, long Durumagi on the top half. They told him he had to be able to fight fluidly in even the most cumbersome clothes. So now wearing the more modern attire didn't phase him. If anyone decided to get out of hand it wouldn't matter if he was in a hanbok, or his normal clothes.
Of course he hoped to God that wouldn't happen, because this festival was one of the only times he could forget about work and just enjoy himself. Twenty-seven years of coming here had seen a lot of variations of company. He had been with his parents, fellow hunters, girls, boys, friends, and on his own. The latter was the stance for this year. He was sure he'd probably bump into plenty of people here, but he had chosen to start out on his own because he had a task to do.
While the idea he had could possibly be crossing over into the class of work, he preferred to think of it as simply satisfying a curiosity that had to do with the supernatural. Several days ago Luhan had mentioned to him that one of his business partners was going to be helping to man a food and beverage stall. This business partner happened to be a nephilim that Jongjin had heard the name of more times than he could count, but one he had never come face to face with. He decided that tonight would be the night. It wasn't that he didn't trust Luhan, or didn't think the younger boy could hold his own, but nephilims were notoriously untrustworthy. He had taken their lives before due to blood deals gone wrong.
So the fact that this name had cropped up on a relatively regular basis intrigued him, and he intended to find out more about the creature. Luckily he had picked up more than enough details to locate the particular stall of his interest, and it wasn't long after he had arrived at the festival that he made his way towards it. As he approached, he immediately began his appraisal; a male of fair height and a healthy build beneath his clothing. Stepping up to the stall he nodded to the boy.
