tbh no matter what happens following the first 10 entries of this current tome, i still think it’s simply baffling how the first better glimpse we get of ANYTHING to do w/ sable as a character revolves around a man that wasn’t even mentioned by name prior in her bio (until bhvr added it after the fact JUST for this, of course...) + has truly no significance in her individual story. like wdym

even if they do This or do That following everything .... how on earth did we get a deeper exploration of sable and fuckass julian’s dynamic FIRST? when sables whole thing ALWAYS had to do w mikaela? when the whole theme surrounding sable and mikaela’s connected story ALWAYS had to do with love? and that ofc being all due to BHVR THEMSELVES???????? TO BEGIN WITH? like be SO fr rn

things only become Worse tbh if he is truly the original survivor being released on the 25th ngl ... bc i swear they (dbd) is always SOOOOOO ready to utilize sable ward in some backhanded, never ever truly genuine way if it means potentially creating more hype or more profit for whatever the fuck they’re promoting. bc i will simply not understand how 1. it took them this long to do ANYTHING more with sable as a character in general and 2. have the first big thing we see of her barely even.......revolve around her at all?!?!?! let alone revolve around some dynamic that wasnt even present or acknowledged at all for her prior????!?!?!?!?!?!

like. atp she will never not be anything more than just a gimmick or accessory for other characters / stories and it truly saddens me. i do rly wish they would treat her atleast with a tad more respect, especially considering all she’s done for them lol !
