fraye-mathis:
I prefer you here with me. Come home Naya!
Mama would argue I am home.
@fraye-mathis:
You are going to share with your sister, right?
Have you gone through the ones I made you for Christmas already?

Then we should do something to celebrate.
I’m not so concerned. Just another year older.
Christmas Baking Extravaganza | Fraye & Daisy | Dec. 21, 2015
2015 marked the first year ever that Daisy was hosting Christmas dinner. She wasn’t doing it on her own, but ever since she moved out on her own, she’d managed to avoid having people over to her little apartment for Christmas, so it was still a milestone. Granted, Axel had made her life a thousand times easier by hiring a catering team to handle the actual appetizers, main course, and side dishes, but as a celebration of the holiday season and filming wrapping up, Daisy had called dibs on making dessert. It wasn’t going to be just one dessert, but as many as she could possibly put together on Christmas day while still leaving herself enough time to look physically presentable for dinner. There was a whole lot to be done, and the pressure (though pretty much all self-imposed pressure) was on.
It wasn’t just Christmas dinner. It was also going to be the first Christmas that Avi got to spend as part of the Mathis family. Plus Lucas and his mom were coming. Daisy didn’t know Lucas too well, and she certainly didn’t know his mother, so there was also them to impress. And in the spirit of spending some one on one time with Fraye, which she had been meaning to do, she texted and asked if she would perhaps be interested in spending the morning helping to bake and prepare the various desserts. Axel had been suggesting that she and Fraye spend time together and Daisy whole heartedly agreed, but busy schedules had made it difficult up until now since first Fraye had been on her trip and when she returned, Daisy’s filming schedule had gotten extremely hectic.
Daisy was glad when Fraye agreed to help bake. She didn’t want Fraye to think she was putting her to work or anything, and hoped that they shared the opinion that baking with friends was a fun way to hang out. So on Christmas Eve, Daisy battled the hoards of other people doing last minute Christmas grocery shopping and left the supermarket with every ingredient she could possibly need to make enough desserts to feed an army. She was having a difficult time narrowing down what to actually make, and didn’t know very much about Lucas and his mom’s taste, so she figured she’d ask Fraye. On Christmas morning, Daisy left Axel still asleep in bed and went downstairs to start sorting through all the ingredients while she waited for Fraye to arrive.

Birthday Gift
(This was given to her the night of her winter performance).
The card read:
Naya,
I hope you have a wonderful birthday and that you become the star I know you’ll be and shine just as bright.
Happy Birthday.
