The hole is a natural part of the seed. Seeds are approximately 6-7mm by 9-10mm. The first three photographs (with orange tassel) are hand knotted by us. The last four photographs (red tassel) are strung locally in the market. The strung beads are from Vrindavan, and are strung locally, with approximately 108 Job's Tears, but VARIES FROM 92 - 108, so this mala is not necessarily suited for chanting as is. The necklace mala is approximately 36 - 40 inches long (91.5 to 101.5cm), but varies slightly from strand to strand because the seed beads vary in size.
