So we went a-walking on Sunday! Roamin' the streets, indulging in some avaara bachodx! Some absolutely lovely folks decided to come and we loitered on the streets of Bahadurabad. We made our way from New Quetta Alamgir Hotel to...well, here and there. Discovered a tiny dhaba under a tree and made ourselves comfortable. The conversation was fierce and we got ourselves an audience too. To all those who came, thank you so much! Walking the City | Round 2 in Karachi and Lahore ~~~Sunday September 24, 5:00pm, location upon registration~~~ Walking in the city is often a daunting idea for women but there is always power and strength in sisterhood. Girls at Dhabas is organising another group walk for women, transx and gender non-conforming folk this weekend. We will be meeting up at the drop-off point in our respective cities, and walking together for an hour before sitting in a public space to talk about the experience together.
