Lately, I’ve been a little overwhelmed with my #lowimpactmovement journey and was feeling like I wasn’t make that big of a difference. But after @tristenfagg pointed out that there’s not a single plastic bag or straw in the house made me feel better. I also realized that I’m making smaller differences in my personal grooming with natural deodorant in a cardboard tube, shampoo bars and using up the products I already have before buying more sustainable options. 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱 It’s so true when they say that #zerowaste an #lowimpactmovement is something #privledged people can do. I may be white, but I’m pretty strapped for cash and I can’t afford to buy some of the things I know will make my path easier. But, I can look at what I can do around me. I can notice the small things that are beautiful, that make a difference.
