I really wanna join the wordgirl fandom, especially as someone who watched the shorts as a kid, but just over the last few days the fandom is already getting a little...intimidating.

Honey I could have told you that since January.

Admittedly, since the popularity boom, things have been getting more.. lively, let’s say. Even I have trouble keeping up sometimes. And yeah, the stories I’ve heard about certain groups are a little yikes, however not everything and definitely not everyone will be like that.

Like any large community (Wordgirl however being in no means large lol), it’s all about finding your groups and Your People ™. I could introduce you to a few groups and servers if you’d like. We got from the artist side to the animation side, to the writing side.
