Set 2: making of church Lately we’ve been very busy making the church for our second set. It still needs some stained glass windows and a good paint job. Still we wanted to show everyone our work in progress so far.
This weeks character introduction: Grandpa! Meet the grandpa of Kai & Linde. Grandpa always has a great story to tell his grandchildren. This time is no exception because this time his story is about a place called Saefthinghe and he thought it would be a great trip since the place really exists. Curious to hear the story grandpa is gonna tell?
Time to introduce our second character this week: Kai!
Kai is the big brother of Linde and he’s 11 years old. Sometimes he gets a bit annoyed by his little sister. Next year he will go to his first year in secondary school so he starts to feel to cool to hang out with his sister.
Concept art: Main characters For the main characters we decides on 2 children in the story, a boy and a girl. While sketching the concept art for these characters we weren’t sure which age they should have so this varied in each sketch. None of them are final yet since these are the first sketches we started out with.
