what are your favorite bh fics of all time? or the most recent, doesn’t matter! the longer the better. i always look forward to what you have to recommend :)

I’ve been fretting about this one forever and for EVER, because I have so many favorites, and they’re usually shorter but also in so many categories? Toys? Mpreg? Gender? Pee kink? Pubes? Daddy kink? Phone sex? Virgin? GOD, but yeah, okay, to fit the brief, here are ten that are more than 40k but less than 100k. (I just did a longer fic fic rec, and I also did my fave newer authors, but those would qualify here, too, for the most part, so if you want to narrow it down and send another ask, go for it! :D)

The Case of the (Definitely not Haunted) Styles Mansion, by BriaMaria, 40k. A combination Marcel plus cold case murder mystery? Yeah!

Buried Like Treasure, by QuickedWeen/ @becomeawendybird, 40k. An eternal fave, this one has it all: Marcel, art thief Louis, panties, bondage, nice!

Seeing Blind, by zedi, 46k. Omega Harry plus blind alpha Louis, what’s not to like? One of the rare One Direction a/b/o fics that includes the “chase” part of the a/b/o trope.

just call me inspiration, by @hereforlou, 51k. I just had a ton of conversations about this with [redacted], when we were talking about men and porn and writing and reading, and it makes me love romance novelist Louis all the more.

you came into my life, by @disgruntledkittenface, 57k. I READ THIS ALL THE TIME, it’s a warm cup of tea, the way the fab five is portrayed but also alllll of Louis’s angst and pining over Harry. Yeah.

Harry Styles Cooks..., by sunsetmog, 61k. The way all of us are subscribed to this and go into cardiac arrest when it randomly updates, a wip for the ages. Merch ideas for the ages!

Can’t Hide It, Might as Well Embrace It, by supernope, 67k. One of my two very favorite Harry Potter AUs, this one with mpreg!

dancing in the dark, by clairdeloune, 76k. This one’s about Harry coming out, and all the ramifications, but one of my fave things (oddly enough) is Louis’s friendship with Nick.
