I have made a Very Silly Hat for my safety wizard cosplay. I used Mellowmind's traffic cone pattern, with a few little modifications and a combo of 2mm and 4mm EVA foam (because it was what we had on hand). Tonight I'll leave it alone to allow the glue to cure, then if the weather's decent tomorrow I'll spray it down with plastidip (and then paint it in earnest the day after). Hopefully my reflective paint for the stripes will be arriving soon! (I need to make a hat band, figure out if I want to add my reflective star decals, and make an interior band so it sits nice and comfy.
I wanna see your version of the safety wizard! :D
RIGHT NOW it is a pile of hi-vis vests I bought off amazon and cut up to turn into a robe but THERE WILL BE PICTURES I assure you
~Bonus Post~ (Two in one day!)
Someone suggested I add some sort of scale to the mini photos, so here is part one of the backlog! Future posts may or may not have them, depending on whether scale is relevant
Casting a protection charm, for you to be safe this New Years!

I dunno if pockets are necessary for health and safety, but having them on this underdress/robe makes me feel a helluva lot safer.
.....man this is dumb and it's going to be a pain for a shitpost costume but.... We make artisanal shitposts in this house.
A much more recent paint job, this guy was a bit of a speedpaint, as you can tell from his preference for flat black accessories. I lost enthusiasm a bit when I realized I have basically given him an orange hi-viz vest, but he turned out well enough with a bit more shading, and is certainly table ready.
