Nothing really happened today. Grace is doing some math shit in the cockpit I think. There's candy in one of the drawers in the lab.

Food's definitely getting chunkier. Maybe I can even not eat from a tube sometime soon

He definitely doesn't realise I'm up here

he's said three different names to the nanny bot, none of which being his actual name

I think he's having flashbacks because he keeps yelling, and then pausing for a moment, and then going back to talking, more rattled now.

he's given ilyukhina and yao proper send-offs. I can still sort of see Ilyukhina's hair, I think the robot plaited it sometime

I've gotten through a full ball of yarn! I'm not really meant to be doing anything to do with the actual Hail Mary until Ryland remembers anything important

Food's definitely getting thicker. this morning's had potatoes. I think I got one meant for Ilyukhina

DAY 2 LOG 2-

I found my yarn! it ended up tangled with some of Ilyukhina's things in storage but I have like. infinite time out here

food's a bit thicker tonight, I suspect to get me weaned off the coma-slurry texture

I think Grace woke up

He's thumping around and making odd slurring noises

Meal was pretty good :D the tubes are coming out warm now, probably induction heating to kill botulism or whatever else lives in tubed protein

Log day one -

it seems like it was a long trip to Tau Ceti. The green's grown out of my hair, unfortunately. I don't think bleach-based hair dye is allowed in the closed circuit of the ship.

I have a half-finished shawl thing from earth I could probably do with completing.

The computer is feeding me the weird soy meal tubes as anticipated. They taste great, if a bit tangy.

It's overall quite dark out here. Might see if we can get closer to Tau. I hope Ms Stratt didn't do anything to Dr Grace. he's still quite asleep
