I'm trying to work on the comic. I really am. Idk, its just hard to commit to the hours it takes to smooth out the writing and art when it feels like I'm throwing it out into the void, you know?

I only really post stuff to see other people's reactions to it, so even if I get likes/notes/upvotes or whatever, it feels so silent and lonely. I didn't think that when I opened up the ask game people would start treating it like a comments section and just. Stop engaging with the comic proper. And its been a similar downward trend across the few other places I've posted it.

Plus I've recently been drawing stuff that... isn't allowed according to Tumblr TOS, so I haven't been posting it. And considering my other acc that got absolutely nuked from existence with no warning or explanation (there was absolutely nothing objectionable or against TOS but to this day staff have never answered any of my requests to reinstate it) I don't want to take that risk with this account. Getting shadowbanned for months was hard enough and I don’t think I ever fully recovered from it. If this acc got nuked I'd probably entirely give up on Tumblr lol.

One of your last posts made me curious so hypothetically, Let's say that Saffron magically blanked out and Reese got to snack on his mom. I wonder how that would go. Would Saffron put him down or? I might not have a good handle on her personality but she doesn't seem like the type who's fine with outright murder.

I’ve mentioned Hollow Words: Matricide a couple times across various social media as an interesting timeline divergence. Saffron puts a lot of value in human life, and doesn’t end it casually. Losing Doc K would be a huge blow and she wouldn’t be very happy about it.

However.

Having a big strong bodyguard she can manipulate by pretending to love would be very appealing to her. In this AU she would take over the clinic as the new (horribly unethical) doctor (with no certification). Perhaps, through a bit of violence, the greater good can be achieved after all…
