Finding Safety in Findom
If you’ve been researching and spending time in the findom community, you know EXACTLY how it feels to deal with scammers of l types on a regular basis.
They don’t even try that hard to hide it. You can almost always tell who is legit and who isn’t. Even now, foreign men or some dude in your grandmas basement is making a fake findom account on Twitter to hunt for naive girls who jumped into this fetish thinking it’s easy money.
It’s not safe for anyone. So here’s another list I’ve compiled to spot the fucking ban of the findom community.
Bad grammar (they always have atrocious grammar. Periods and commas don’t exist either.
Repeated questions. “Are you looking to get spoiled?”
Has extremely forgettable and generic cis gendered OLD white dude name and profile pic. Ok, smith Thomas??
Shady snips. They usually send “reference” photos that’s just stolen snips form other people’s cash updates or bank statements. Gross.
Don’t take note for an answer
Become threatening and devoid of earthly manners once you call them out on their sus behavior. “You a fool.”
STOLEN CONTENT! I’ve seen on several platforms where you can tell someone has recorded content from their phone that was posted by the original creator. They steal that shit thinking they’re being clever. Right lol
Instant messages as soon as you follow them or they follow back. Desperate much?
🚨 Asks for persons bank/phone/home address.

A lot of them are foreigners (usually India) and will only use PayPal because cashapp isn’t available. Soon as you get spidy sense do NOT let them send you anything. They can use that shit against you.
REFUSE to verify their own identity but demand you do it instead.
Waste time: the biggest scam of all.
This isn’t everything but it’s a lot of what I’ve dealt with over a few years.
Always listen to your gut. Always research someone. Doesn’t matter if they claim to be a findom or paypig, RESEARCH. Ask them to provide verification. Or ask for people who can vouch for them
If anything in YOUR gut feels knotted up and sick when you speak with them…it’s your body warning you to protect yourself.

Please please please, keep much of your information private
Some people tend to over share and--this isn't meant to be rude--give off an impression that they weren't taught internet safety. Part of this is how the expectations have changed. You know, it's just assumed you should have info put out in your bio or something describing your pronouns or triggers or whatever. And some people may bully you if you don't. They may try to say you're some sort of bigot by not doing. They may try to persuade you by saying it's not that difficult, you should do it to be an "ally"(depending on what info they want) etc
Here's the thing; you don't have to
It's no one's business. There are a lot of people out there who think they're entitled to it and they're not. Not to mention, it's a safety risk for you. There are bad people out there, people who can use some of that info for their own gain. People who are predators and will take advantage of you
I don't like to say you should block people (because it's become the automatic for some) but if someone is continuously bothering you about not knowing X thing,then it's better to just block them and be done with it
