For something a bit different, here's a weird little crossover of two of my other hyperfixations. League's Sahn-Uzal (Mordekaiser) as a Yautja (Predator) since with the announcement for Badlands and Killer of Killers and the recent skin release both are *heavy* on the mind again.
Sahn-Uzal, the Warlord of the Wildlands, who later came to be known as Mordekaiser.
I decided to do a simple face graphic of Mordekaiser before his death. It’s based on sketches done by Malicious Metal, who has seen the concept art of Mordekaiser as a human, when he was at riot.
In a long bygone age, the brutal warlord Sahn-Uzal rampaged across the untamed Wildlands.
Driven by the promise of earning his place at the table of the gods in the fabled Hall of Bones, Sahn-Uzal sought to conquer all other tribes and unite them under his banner.
Conquest, cruelty and domination was the toll paid for any soul to be deemed worthy of feasting with the glorious dead and be graced with the presence of their ancient deities.
But in his zealous subjugation of all those who opposed him, Sahn-Uzal never questioned the legitimacy of his dark faith. Never did he doubt the words his hierophants had taught him, accompanying his every step towards the great destiny he had been promised.
And as he lay dying, usurped by his own blood, Sahn-Uzal harbored no hatred, no contempt, for those who had toppled the tyrant that he was in life.
For he was sure in his belief that he had been deemed worthy to enter the glorious Hall of Bones and had earned his spot at the table of his gods....
But he was wrong.

I thought I’d put this here too.
This rendition of Sahn-Uzal is based on the various pieces of concept art I was shown during my trip to Riot HQ and some really stimulating conversation with Mordekaiser’s lead writer on what the influences behind Mordekaiser’s human past were.
So yeah, this will be the version of Sahn-Uzal that I’ll be using whenever dealing with his past as the Conqueror of the Wildlands!
