I wonder why? Is it the heat or is it like an emotional thing? I'm kinda curious
Saibara: Just bought Gray a 'Get better soon!' card.
Ellen: Why? Is he sick?
Saibara: No, but I think he could be better.
Have a drink, cheers! Cheers to a past crop and welcomes another
Saibara~
At this moment I relate to you more than anything.
By default the the character with the most hearts is the one who stands next to the player during the fireworks festival. Usually it’s whoever I’ve chosen as a love interest, but in this case I’ve spent the past several weeks bribing Saibara in an effort to get the mixing pot and the aging pot from him. So being the only character at five hearts, he joined me to watch the fireworks.
I just kind of like the idea of him adopting this young new farmer. Moving to a new town in his old age and finding this hopeless kid and taking them under his wing. And seeing this kid who’s been hauling ass to establish their place in the town is sitting alone and he decides ... nobody should be alone to watch the fireworks. I’m gonna stand here next to them. And neither of them have to say anything because they’re totally comfortable around one another. It’s adorable.
So, this is one of those weird stuff that has happened to me while playing Harvest Moon Magical Melody? A reaction that I hadn’t seen when giving other items besides tree seedlings. Something among hate and indifference, though it’s still not clear to me what kind of impact does this have in the affection bars (Tried to give seedling to a 9-heart level Jamie for 9 days in a row and nothing happened.)
The dialogs are still interesting even without the game mechanics context, as giving away a tree to plant and make the community greener is seen as a “problem” by most of the folks of Flower Bud Village.
Ann’s quick reaction “Ewww” is particularly hilarious.
