Just checking in to say yesterday I came back from Disneyland with a real bad cold, so my bf made me some Jesus Tea, and man oh man did that stuff work wonders on my throat. Thanks a bunch for that recipe. Also, if you still have love for Star Wars, Galaxy’s Edge is friggen insane, man. Like wow, we spent about half a day in there just pointing at everything and going “Oooh,” 10/10 highly recommend.

Yay Jesus Tea works again!  It’s actually a friend who’s not onTumblr’s recipe, so every time I get a message like this I send her a screenshot of the message and the current Note Count on those posts. 

Also yes I still love a Star War, though I don’t blog about it much because 1. Brain Bad No Energy Disease is happening  2. The #Discourse is enough to give anyone an ulcer from five miles off and 3. The tides of my hyperfixation have shifted so I’m in my Tabletop RPG phase right now. 

So I’m... not actually sure what Galaxy’s Edge is.  New Videogame? The Disney park? Cartoon?  New tabletop content?

Thanks for saying so! This was one of those movies that a friend had on vhs when I was little so I watched it a lot and was fascinated with it. I always liked how they melted down their necklaces to make the bullet, and how they had to figure out who the werewolf was.

Hello! I'm a bit of a late bloomer, I was actually hoping for advice on changing my name? I'm ftm with a very feminine name, and when I recently came out to my mom she asked if I wanted to change it. I do, but I have no idea how to go about it or what to even change it to. I was wondering if anyone here has had experience with name changing, how they picked a name, etc

So the whole name change ordeal will depend on where you live. 

If you are in the US, it will depend on the state and the county you live in. You would have to go to your local probate office, and get a petition for name change. Have all the required documents that you local probate court requires i.e. birth cirtificate, proof of residency, ss card. Then, while in the presence of a notary public, you sign the petition. There are fees and depending on where you live there might be a court hearing. You will then have to apply for all new documents, which will have fees as well.

New ss card comes first (socialsecurity.gov)

Then if you have one, a driver’s license (DMV) 

New birth certificate (your states Department of Vital Statistics)

Then you have to change all your bank account info, credit/student dept if you have it, and that should be about it. 

As for what to change it to, I just asked my mom what she would have named me. I liked the name so I took it. If you don’t like the name that your parents would have chosen then just sit down and think about it, there are endless lists of names (google baby names) on the internet.
