I was reading 'Filming continues near Saintfield (UPDATE: Presumed-dead character seen in costume, on set!)' on Winter is Coming for iOS and I thought you might be interested in reading it too.
Game of Thrones Episode #506 “Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken”
In this week’s episode Game of Thrones, Arya continues her training, Jorah & Tyrion are captured by slavers, Jaime & Bronn attempt to rescue Myrcella, and Sansa is subject to some questionable writing choices by the showrunners.
Jorah and Tyrion are traveling up the coast looking for a village when they see a slaver ship anchored in a bay. They are captured by the slavers, but Tyrion manages to talk them into traveling to Meereen and selling Jorah to the fighting pits. They see the ship from a sheep field in Murlough Bay, and talk to the slavers at some rocks just down the coast.
We return to the Water Gardens seen a few episodes ago which are once again filmed in the gardens of Alcázar de Sevilla in Spain.
Jaime and Bronn come over a rise and see the Water Gardens sitting down the coast. They join a group of travelers heading there. Like the other waterfront scenes in Dorne so far, this was filmed at Portstewart Strand with a bit of CG Water Gardens in the distance.
Ellaria talks to the Sand Snakes before their attack on Myrcella in the cellars beneath the Mudéjar Palace in the Alcázar de Sevilla.
At the end of episode Sansa marries Ramsey in the godswood at Winterfell. This estate near Saintfield has been used as the godswood since the first episode of the series, but it hasn’t been seen since the end of season two.
Locations I still need to find include the beach where Jorah and Tyrion start the episode and the alley where Lancel confronts Littlefinger.
The moon was incredible last night!
I'm thankful for....[4]
1. I'm thankful for my parents. My mum turns 50 in two weeks and I'm so grateful for everything both she and my dad have done for me. 2. I'm thankful that my sister did herself justice in her AS levels, I don't think I'll ever forget her sprinting to my car, waving her results and screaming I GOT A C IN CHEMISTRY! She was more proud of that hard earned C than any of her 3 As 3. I'm thankful for yet another great Youth Night. I was tasked with escorting a group of girls who are going into first year around Saintfield on a treasure hunt. I miss being that age I nominate thefuryofthenorth
