Random fact  ?  I have a weird scar right below my left eyebrow because when I was a child, I randomly decided to headbutt a form of cheese while having dinner and... Well, the strike must have been more violent than I remember because it indeed left a sign, lmao. 

BUT since I’m a generous bun, I’m now going to give you another  (  hopefully more interesting fact  )  about me  !!  I actually love drawing, I love it much more than any other type of hobby even though I am not good at it and I’ve stopped practicing. I grew so attached to it because it’s also my dad’s passion  (  he legit proposed to my mom with a drawing, it’s the two of them drawn as disney characters and it’s the cutest thing, i swear  )  and even though he could not pursue this dream because of his parents, that’s how we spent our time together when I was a child  !!  We would just draw a lot together and he’d teach me everything he knew and we’d even have little contests... I have so many beautiful memories about those days, so it’s stuck with me until now. Even though I no longer draw as much as I should, I love seeing others drawing and watching videos about art is one of my guilty pleasures  !!  So I hope I can begin to pursue this lil’passion of mine, again, one day.

          death is exhausting.

          in all honesty,  he isn’t sure why he is still alive.   he remembers the blood trickling across his fingers from the bullet wound,  the look in victor’s pale eyes as finally the wound refuses to heal.   the smile on eli’s own lips at his bitter end.   perhaps this was always how it was meant to end  -  victor vale and eli ever,  locked in their own dance with death.   to being remembered,  forever. 

          who was he now then?   eliot cardale had died in a college bathroom over a decade ago.   eli ever bled out in an abandoned warehouse at the hand of his best friend enemy.   whoever the man was that woke with dirt in his lungs and soil covering him head to toe was neither of them.   by the time he had clawed his way out of the makeshift grave,  he was a new man entirely.

          it was only a thin layer of sediment in reality.   a shallow grave.   he wonders how victor must have felt at the touch of his cooling skin,  ashen features staring back at him from the hole in the earth.   he wonders if victor felt anything at all.

          thankfully the grave had not taken his wits away from him.   there was a diner nearby,  practically abandoned on this night.   whoever the poor sod that was running the night shift would find his till $50 down,  a cup of coffee gone from the pot,  and the phone book missing from underneath the counter.   a single dimly lit payphone stood out the back;  inside now harboured eli sat on the ground,  the receiver tucked against his ear.   the book was opened next to him,  flipped to the surnames starting with v.

          after an eternity of ringing,  the phone finally clicked,  and a smile graced his lips for the first time in his very short life.

                       SILENCE IS COMMON AMONGST THE FAMILY, it comes naturally. nathaniel is no exception. he prefers writing, something where there is distance, minimal contact with those he must be in contact with. but there are instances others cannot be avoided, whether it be sacrificial or beneficial, it does not make such things any less irritating. he does not quite hear the other’s approach, swept in the current of his thoughts, he feels it though. eyes on him. it is uncomfortable, makes skin crawl, as if it doesn’t quite fit when someone is looking. he maintains cool composure, steel gaze shifting over kin before a word can be spoken between them. there is no familial embrace, only a tension pulling at the muscles in his jaw.   “ ━ sea life is treating you well.”    not how is sea life treating you.   is there fondness beneath the monotone of his voice ? an act of it.    “ you need something. ”   not a question, a statement, a fact. there is no hesitation in his voice as he says it, but it is not accusatory either.   why else would you be here , why else seek me out ?    it is a terribly lonely thought ; for your loved ones to only find you when they desire something, but that is the point isn’t it ? they are not the type for gratuitous family reunions.

                     JUNO MAKES A HABIT OF DOING THINGS HE SHOULDN’T,    it’s not that he’s stupid, just impulse, and yeah okay, maybe a little stupid on occasion but commonsense is a luxury for those outside of the p.i. registry. that being said, breaking into a large academic institution that supposedly holds cursed artifacts and stories about said haunted things isn’t his favorite pastime, hell it wouldn’t make top ten, even without rita chatting in his ear, he flicks off the comms before she gets the chance to warn him he isn’t the only one there. juno practically jumps out of his skin when the office door opens, though he’s more surprised when it isn’t a security guard looking back at him.   “ do you have to be able to appear out of nowhere to work here ? ”
