Things should have been in full swing. Ang's saints should have been socializing with their copies, a herd of Pierces should have been gathered around bitching able their bosses while Eli's Pierce had his arm around him, smiling at having gotten the best draw.
The Ashas and some Johnnies should have been trading stories while Cyrus was between his, the red on his face not from the lights with that bright of a shade.
There should have been Meryl and Colin should have been inspecting every piece of food before even trying it while she eyed every passing zombie with wariness.
Yuri should have been downstairs enjoying himself as he fought with others, including his copy from Ang's world. Of course he wasn't admitting it.
Mer should have been cajoled into being flogged, the thud of it echoing through the floor as Ang's mother worked him over. Ang refused to acknowledge that her mother and her both liked to flog and cause that same bliss expression.
Eris should have been bouncing around between the fight area, the food station and the play area, her eyes shining with delight, giving Ang a kiss each time she passed.
Jack should have been found the bar and was being fawned over by quite a few of Ang's people, unfortunately including her father.
Tiff should have been happy as a lark surrounded by Angels, her small form barely visible in the crowd.
Furia and Troy should have been found the playrooms and should have been busy trying out all the new things to be had.
Shackles should have been busy being marveled over while people asked how she had gotten a tail that worked so well with her costume but they should have been too drunk to really understand it was real.
Lux should have been busy charming a few Matts while petting her Mittens in his charming outfit.
Troy should have been busy coping a feel of Ang while he annoyed a glaring Eli was being petted.
Sam should have been busy trying to match Luca blush for blush as the Shaundis gathered making crude innuendos.
All the while the Kinzies and Matts should have been busy making recordings for blackmail and later viewings but mostly blackmail.
Tina should have been busy glaring and probably judging everyone while she worked.
All this going on. Or at least it should have been going on. It would have gone on. Well Tina was busy glaring. All Ang could do was imagine how wonderful the party would have been. Curled up in Troy's arms as Johnny yelled at people, tears shining on her cheeks as she cried, barely able to breath past the sobbing.
It was supposed to have been the most wonderful party. It was suppose to have been a time of happiness, joy and delight. It was suppose to be a start of a new life.
Oh but it was a start of a new life. A life without Bossville as the rift had vanished.
