Cultural note: Sakura-chan says to Sakura-kun 辛苦了 “it was hard work” which is a polite phrase to thank and praise someone for doing something good/nice/expected, more or less the same as the Japanese “お疲れ様です otsukaresama desu”, both in meaning and culturally, so if you’re familiar with the Japanese phrase you probably already get it, but basically when Sakura-kun says “There’s no need to say such things between you and me”, what he means is that he doesn’t want her to use rote, polite phrases, because he wants their relationship to be more genuine than that.

I think in English it comes across a little rude without the cultural context, so I wanted to explain.

Male!Haruno Sakura Headcanons #1 (ItaSaku?!?! Kinda)

or the one where Itachi has a massive crush on his big bro’s beautiful teammate (non-massacre, age-swap, GENDERBENDING)

It started when Sakura got that undercut. Itachi just turned kind of white when he saw it and walked away really fast.

Sasuke knew what was up. But he thinks his baby bro’s setting himself up for heartbreak :(

Itachi’s a 13 year old chunin and Sakura’s a 19 year old jounin so um no ur too young Itachi

Itachi: god he’s so BUFF, he has such delicate features and with that pink hair?? You’d expect someone super gentle, which he totally is, but I’m sure Akasuna no Sasori is still collecting his wood chips out there

Everyone thought Sakura was dating Ino but one day she’s engaged to Sai and everyone’s really confused!! “So they really were best friends all along?” cue eye-rolls from Itachi. He knew that already. Nothing escapes his eyes. Especially Sakura when he’s wearing that red vest-

Shisui and Sakura brotp?? Shisui has hinted at Itachi’s feelings for years but nooo Sakura brushes it off

they only really got to know each other when Itachi turned 16 and went on his first jounin mission, with The Most Handsome Captain of Konoha, no wait, All the Lands (in Itachi’s words)

They both kicked ass. Sakura thinks Itachi’s adorable. He thinks Sakura is The Sage’s Gift to Mankind

They’re ambushed on their way back and Sakura’s injured pretty bad. Itachi panics when he realizes it’s his turn to do the protecting. Despite his otherworldly beauty, Sakura is Human. Itachi feels something change.

There’s some quality bonding time as they recover. Itachi never knew male medics had a hard time until Sakura told him how often he’d gotten teased when he chose the ‘soft path’ out of all the Shinobi fields. He asks Sakura if he could help him with at least basic medical jutsu. The resulting grin from Sakura is something he keeps very close to his heart. Sakura pretends he didn’t see Itachi blush.

#1 and #2 of a series of silly comics by Goose where Team 7 (+ Sakura-kun, his male Sakura) get animal jutsu’d.

Goose is a multiSaku shipper (including Naru//Saku and Sasu//Saku) but since this particular post has SakuSaku on “top” so to speak, I will only tag SakuSaku + multiSaku.

Translator’s notes: It took me FOREVER to decide how to translate 佐二花 but I finally settled on “Sasooky”.
