Some of my favorites moments from my last Buddie fic read:

“Dad,” Christopher says, like he thinks Eddie thinks he’s an idiot or something. “Do you think I’m six? I know what bisexuality is. I know that Buck is bisexual. I’m not stupid.” “I didn’t think you were,” Eddie says, feeling a bit lost.

It’s like his brain is telling him by the way, you find that attractive, and apparently you always have, you repressed sack of shit and Eddie would like to speedrun this part of his sexuality crisis.

Things Eddie has, in the past, defined as ‘torture’: - watching Buck under the ladder truck. - the few moments between hearing that his son was lost in the tsunami and finding him again - being shot - PT after being shot - the helicopter crash in Afghanistan too, he guesses.

“Okay,” Frank says. “Let’s unpack that.”

This might be one of the best post se07ep04 scenarios that I have read.
