WhOOPS I added a salty rat man to my f/o list! Reigen turns out to be one of my favourite and most hilarious characters in MP100, surprise surprise~! On a side note, I also wanna protect Kageyama/Mob with my life so he’s going on the f/o list too!
Welcome to the f/o club new friends! Reigen’s content will be under #saltyratass and Kageyama’s content will be under #powerfulbutpure
MP100 S/I First Meeting Headcanons
Minami met Reigen and Kageyama after the initial fight against her brother - when he came back half-bald she found it completely and utterly hilarious and wanted to find out who was responsible.
Cue her searching for the mysterious Shadow Leader of Salt Middle School, mostly through eye-witness accounts of some of Teru’s former friends who she knows through pestering her brother at their hangout sessions.
Eventually she finds Kageyama and has a hard-time believing someone so timid could be so powerful. She does manage to find out about him frequenting the ‘Spirits and such Consultation Office’ a lot, so she decides to drop in.
Cue her coming face to face with Reigen for the first time, who mistakes her for a customer and tries to pull all his usual shenanigans on her. The only way she manages to stop him for a couple minutes is by freezing him in place with her telekinesis to get his attention proper and also clue Kageyama in on her psychic abilities.
Mob naturally asks what she’s up to and she explains her relation to Teru, however she also tells him she’s not here to fight him - in fact admiring the fact that this average looking schoolkid put her brother in his place, as she felt he was getting a bit too big for his boots. This is when she’d introduce herself and Reigen would leap at the opportunity to get another Esper on his side. (Considering Mob isn’t around all the time to help him with exorcisms, but obviously he wouldn’t tell her that.)
Minami’s more than intrigued by Reigen and Mob, deciding to accept the offer he springs on her to become his secretary - even if she is getting paid very little.
She starts off doing bog standard secretarial stuff, keeping her job a secret from her brother initially and she knew he’d flip if he knew she knew the guy who kicked his ass personally.
Eventually though Reigen decides she’s getting wasted just sitting there typing or organizing files and takes her on her first exorcism case where she demonstrates the full extent of her psychic abilities.
She’s rather quick to figure out that all Reigen can really do is throw salt and dropkick people, but won’t put him down about it because she enjoys seeing how much energy he puts into it.
After that he starts taking her along more frequently and she becomes sort of his secondary assistant.
