OOOOOO very good question!!! thanks so much nami!! You actually got me thinking a little about what kinda roles my platonics could actually play!! I’m gonna make a little list of my speculative ideas for a few!

Okay... I’m gonna say it.... Glinda taking on a very Lucy Westenra-esque role.... VAMPIRE GLINDA??? FOR A WHILE??? I mean COME ON like... VAMPY-YERO IS RIGHT THERE...  Glinda’s my best friend and obviously she’s kind of a little test on Vampy!yeros’ end to see if any vampires could viably survive outside of Kiamo-Ko, because obviously the Bun Boy lives with him up there! Does she end up meeting some kind of tragic end? Only time will tell.... owo

Aw man ALFRED!!! Part of me wants to make this poor boy some sort of trapped hostage we pick up along the way because... He’s a vampire hunter buT NOT GOOD AT IT AT ALL DSKHHKDS Probably tried to go after the bois and like, utterly failed KHSHDKDSH.... How can I not put Alfred in this one??? He’s trying his best!!

On that note AGATHA TOO!!!! I think agatha could actually be the town pastor I mentioned in my fic, but she knows A LOT MORE than she lets on... Obviously she’s as much in the depth of Vampiric study as ‘vert is, but given how much of a bad rap ‘vert has in town she keeps hers secret - especially being a member of the church. AGATHA AND JAVERT DEFINATELY BECOME FRIENDS THERE I SAID IT. PERFECT DEADPAN FRIENDSHIP.

I can honestly totally see Ray as still owning an Occult Bookstore even in this alternate AU.... KHSDHKDS.... Like he’s a bit of an Occult nut who everyone thinks is really cooky and weird but is in fact a big excitable bean... He’s always throwing theories about ghosts and werewolves and everything around and his store is probably where ‘vert gets all his books from.

ok scREW IT IM SHARING THE INCREDIBLY CURSED HEADCANONS THAT CAME UP LAST NIGHT WHILE I WAS WATCHING GHOSTBUSTERS

this all stemmed from the fact in ghostbusters 2 dana says hi to them and they all kinda ‘uwu’

me imagining egon saying ‘y’know....like.... nya’ in the most deadpan way possible and me responding with a look of utter confusion until he just goes ‘.....nya’

he thinks i don’t understand it when in fact i’m like ‘this is so cursed where did he learn this???’

ray is VERY MUCH A WEEB and he secretly tries to get egon into anime but all egon gets out of it is the dumb catchphrases

we kinda accept ray’s a huge weeb until he sees a really cool series he likes and won’t shut up about it for a week

egon has probably said ‘nani’ by accident at least once

me finding out egon has picked up all these cursed anime phrases off ray and smacking ray on the back of the head like ‘plEASE STOP YOU’RE MAKING EGON LOSE WHATEVER BRAINCELLS HE HAS LEFT’

egon doesn’t even realise he’s doing anything wrong until i tell him

he does stop after that but every now and then he’ll say something incredibly stupid/cursed because he knows

imagining ray hoarding vhs tapes of shitty 80′s anime dubs like some underground anime black market

ray LOVES MECH ANIME and he keeps trying to convince egon to help him build one even though egon keeps telling him it’s scientifically impossible

meanwhile i feel bad for him and i’m like ‘i’ll help you make one ray!!!’ when in fact i have no idea what i’m doing and just sit there listening to him gush about his wild ideas for a ghostbusting super mech

he’s probably made me and egon have a mini anime watching party with him at least once, like we all just scronch up on the sofa with ray in the middle with his popcorn and ray is just SO HAPPY like JUST ME AND MY TWO BEST FRIENDS WATCHIN’ SOME ANIME

HAPPY TO OBLIGE YA' MOUSE M'DARLING!!!! 🥺💞💖 In vein of not sounding repetitive but also being VERY REPETITIVE I'm going to diverge and tell ya' a few of the roles of my platonics in the Vampy AU 👀👉👈

First of course theres' Ray! He's got his occult bookstore like he does in Ghostbusters and he's obviously vERY supportive of Javerts' research - which is why he's so open with letting Javert borrow all his books. Obviously he's more into the ghostly side of things though which is probably why he hasn't upped and joined 'vert on his Vampy Hunting shenanigans KDHDHBF....

Then we have Agatha Van Helsing, who naturally ends up having THE BEST dynamic with 'vert by FAR. She's actually the town pastor of the church rather than just a nun like in the Netflix Dracula series and she does research a lot like Javert does - although she keeps hers secret due to the outcry Javert gets already. It'd be MUCH worse for her due to her association with the church, of course. That doesn't stop her from perhaps secretly tagging along with Javert on occasion or even asking him about his research... Perhaps eventually they even exchange notes or even... Team up eventually? 👀

On the subject of the Vampire Hunters, ALFRED!!!! OH, ALFRED.... He's an amateur vampire hunter who ineVITABLY GOT STUCK IN KIAMO-KO because he's noT VERY GOOD AT IT AJGDHF... Much like in Tanz Der Vampire this poor boy is JUST TRYING HIS BEST and he probably had an inkling this whole deal was vampires before anyone else did, apparently. He's smart in there someplace! He's learned from Professor Abronsius enough to tell when vampires are afoot! Putting that knowledge into action is another thing though KDHDHR... Luckily for him, he probably gets found by Javert when he heads up to the castle. (and in a way, adopts this boy by accident KDHDHD)

Glinda is still my best friend and we've always met up for tea and chatter on the regular! Although notably before all this buisness started she'd been feeling rather under the weather... It seems I haven't seen her in quite a while and nobody else seems to have either... Naturally we just assume she's getting rest and it's nothing to be concerned about...! Or is it...? Might she have disappeared and nobody knows? 👀
