holy FUCK are people getting too parasocial.
i know this point has been said but like i saw a comment on the latest youtube video basically asking if sam was okay, and saying he looked tired/like he wasn’t enjoying it. it also said they had seen him smoking/vaping/drinking recently (???) and that they all seem to be happier in their shows with smaller audiences, and like i get the intention, they were saying they hoped he was doing well, but leaving a comment basically dissecting his behaviour even if it’s from a good place is too much.
he’s human, even if he is “off” in a vid (tho tbh he didn’t seem any different to me) the public comment section isn’t the place to point out everything that you perceive as wrong. jf i was him and happened to see it, that would make me feel more judged and observed than comforted. lowkey could’ve just asked if he was okay or something and left it at there.
Happy Birthday to Sam!!!!!

For one of the neurotypicals of the group, Sam's kid characters tend to have a lot of neurodivergent vibes don't they? Benjamin's clear special interest in cars, Thomas Jr being a self-described 'high-functioning boy', etc.
“Lady Margaery,” he says, “what do you do?” He needs, he thinks, to make a goddamn list. “Magic, mostly,” she replies after a moment, leveling her gaze on him again. “And drugs. A lot of drugs. Why? What do you want, boy?”
i wrote an Old Lady Margaery & Titch fic!
