Episode Review: Leverage Redemption - S3, E3
Ep 3: The Scared Stuff Job A company gets people to sign a contract for cryogenics, and then the family is on the hook for the storage fees of the body. It's so gross. But more than that, while the contract's are legal, even if obtained during the worst part of their life, the family needs to pay for seven years. After that he sells the bodies for parts. geezus. Overall, Peter is a terrible terrible man. (Why would he need to keep profits in gold?)
How did Parker know what Eliot wanted to do with his body after death? Does he talk in his sleep? And if yes... how does Parker know? 😈
Smooth Eliot, bringing in the charm, hot dam 🔥 And then there's Parker who reads people so well, that manipulates a goth dude into leaving his post by playing up the bodies in the basement since he's into Frankenstein.
The juxtaposition of the "Operation" like game to Breanna running through how much each body part costs, was unsettling. It makes sense given that you can't make parts. The Christmas Carl con is super fun, made even better with how into it she is.
Harry spouting slang like 'no cap' and 'stan' and having the most absurd laugh, was not on my bingo card. The Goths get into the cryo lab, but Parker stopped them by pretending to be bit by one and then made herself seem like a zombie. Meanwhile, a drunk Santa gets lost, ending in the cryo lab as Eliot is tracking him down. But ... but the best is Eliot's character with his Australian accent and his two pony tails, channeling a hunter 🤣
One of the best things is Bobbi, while she was enamored with Peter and it blinded her to so much, she got to confront him and have the last word. 💜
Followed by Hardison making an appearance: doing the handshake with Eliot, kissing Parker, crowning Breanna Queen of the Carol Con.
Fave dialog Sophie: You have to remember, Parker was essentially feral when we met her.
