Emmett tied his tie and looked into the mirror. He was looking sharp. As he should be when he is going to meet the Princess of the East Land. This new pack has just arrived in the area and he decided to welcome them.
Leaving his apartment he headed to the packs border and entered their land. He looked around and kept walking waiting for someone to come to him.
Xiin watched the boy. She tilted her head. A canine? No, not quite.
He had gotten her curious, and she stepped out to follow him with a mortal visage in place. There was no need to get her presence known. She stalked silently behind him.
Night had overtaken the world, and all was calm. Thanatos walked in dreams. The world was lacking lost souls for now. All those who had died had been guided by their own paws.
Thanatos rather enjoy the quiet that brought, and spent it's time in the dreams of others.
It gazed at the.. wolf? Was this a wolf? She seemed.... different. Quite like a wolf, yes, but there was something off about her. Thanatos smelled the air- no, it wasn't her scent.
It was something it couldn't quite put it's paw on.
Looking closer, it realized there may be another figure in this dream. But that could have been Thanatos' imagination.
