Shance fic
The door opened with a small noise, and everything Shiro heard were a few tired steps before he heard a loud thump on the couch. Then a groan.
“I hate weekends.” Lance’s voice came as a small whine, and all Shiro could do was smile and get up from his desk to go to the living room. There he found Lance with his bag still on and his shoes half kicked out, not even having bothered to take off his jacket. He kneeled beside him on the floor and placed a soft hand on his back.
“I know babe.” He told him with a kind smile and a kiss to his temple. “Now, I’ll help you get to bed. You’ll regret it in the morning if you fall asleep on the couch.”
A long, loud groan came from Lance and Shiro let out a soft laugh.
“Come on.” He said after another kiss to his head.
“Mmnno.” Lance slurred, but a few minutes later he gave in to Shiro’s insistence and sat up. “Why do people need food so bad on Sundays?” He groaned. “Just stay in and cook for the love of–.” Shiro cut him of with a laugh.
“Lance, how many times have we eaten out when we don’t wanna cook?” He asked with an understanding look. Lance simply bent forward with a whine and rested his forehead on Shiro’s shoulder.
“I hate people though. I’m sorry your salad was dry Susan, but I don’t make the food.”
Shiro nuzzled Lance’s hair and stroked his back lightly.
“I know, I know. But it’s over now.” He smiled. “I’m gonna pick you up, alright?”
Lance nodded and Shiro carefully removed the bag and jacket before setting himself between Lance’s legs and lifting him up while getting up. Lance curled his legs and arms around him like a big koala bear and Shiro only smiled fondly the whole way to their bedroom.
By the time he set Lance down on the bed he was already asleep, so he simply took his remaining shoe and his jeans off before getting him under the covers. He gave a soft peck to his forehead and left for the bathroom to get ready for bed himself.

Lance has a personal crisis that mysteriously coincides with Keith being comfortable enough to go topless around the Castle.
