like i know as a society we’re normalizing more and more that you can just Not Do certain things, that certain things aren’t a necessity for life. like being child free. i think more people could stand to normalize being single, but we’re getting there. being genderless, but we’re getting there. but i can tell for people who grew up religious it seems hard to imagine you literally don’t need to engage w that stuff at all. like it’s fully optional. im not rly advocating one thing or another just reminding people. all that? optional lol
