Honestly? I want season 16 to be nothing but filler. One (1) episode of plot where Tfw comes back to life and then just them being them. No universal threat, no BIG problems, no end of the world, just them and all the filler episodes we never got.
But, of course, Destiel and Samleen getting back together storyline
And
Even though being God, jack getting to live with them, all together.
Thats all I want
how it went down in s15. To Me
I’m just gonna say it the writers are pussies for not making Samleen end game

Cas dies and Dean starts referring to himself as a widower. This is somewhat confusing for everyone involved.

I’ve read and adored plenty of Post-Empty fics, New God Jack fics, etc, but this one blows them all away. I teared up several times reading this–the way sometimeswelose writes Dean’s feelings for Cas, how the confession affects his life, how he copes and changes, is wonderfully cathartic. The love in this is so tender yet powerful. I love the lives that he and Sam create for themselves. This fic feels like a perfect ending for Winchesters and Co., not a perfect world, where everything goes back to how it was, but a new one that they are building for themselves. Well written. This is one of those fics that is going to stick in my mind, I can already tell.
people always say destiel live in a remote lakehouse but I think they live in a small tightknit community in new england or maybe even in the midwest.
it's got everything: a local community college for jack, so he can still live at home for the time being, a bar/pub for dean to work at after he's retired from being a hunter, and mostly importantly, no monsters. cas's grace keeps all the baddies at bay so cas can be the stay-at-home idyllic husband dean always wanted. ha-ha, just kidding, dean can't go one shift without cas facetiming him saying how much he misses him or getting sent photos of the random animals cas and jack adopt on jack's off days.
and of course sam and eileen come to visit so often that the husbands (and their son!) built a whole guesthouse one summer so that they didn't have to be suffocated by cas and dean's love for each other- because it IS suffocating. but it's not just lovey-dovey honeymoon type of suffocating, it's a type of love that resonates throughout the whole house, letting everyone who enters know that the inhabitants aren't just lovers, but soulmates, they're twin flames. they complete each other so entirely that their love has seeped into the cracked wood floor in the entryway (dean wore his snowboots inside one time and it's been a pain to get out), the crooked family photos on the wall (cas TRIES to make them straight but dean and jack apparently see no issue with playing football in the house), and the chronically open screen door in the summer (cas loves fresh air, even though dean's always griping that it's too hot and they should just turn on the A/C). Maybe one day they'll get a dog, and maybe one day they'll celebrate jack's engagement party in the backyard by the large oak tree, and maybe one day they'll spent two whole days crying and hugging when sam and eileen announce they're pregnant, but for now, they're perfectly content playing scrabble on the kitchen table and forgetting about the bacon on the stove.
(p.s.- jack always wins at scrabble.)
Happy day to these newly weds 🍾
In my heart I've decided that Sam's blurry wife is Eileen Leahy. I've also decided that their son is also deaf.
