sometimes i think about the duality of Sammy's world falling apart due to severe trauma so she escapes into a fantasy, plays pretend that everything is fine during the daytime and lies awake at night freezing cold secretly sobbing for what she's lost, and Brooklynn's world falling apart due to severe trauma so she does the exact opposite and throws herself into the trauma itself like the fire it burns her with keeps her warm at night but her skin is just cooling and freezing over like lava turning to stone and it's making her as lonely and miserable as Sammy. god.

the way I would sell my soul for a scene in season 4 where they Camp Fam finally all reunite, and Brooklynn and Sammy just stare at each other, solemnly. Brooklynn walks up to her, about to say something, but then Sammy suddenly slaps her ☹️ And Brooklynn doesn’t say anything after that, she just puts her hand on her stinging cheek and looks at the ground holding back tears as Sammy starts breaking down 😞 CMON NOW TELL ME THIS WOULDNT ABSOLUTELY EAT.

Brooklynn Post-BioSyn headcannons

Brooklynn gets really into wellness after the BioSyn incident. Yaz is the driving force of her starting therapy because Yaz is the first to notice how Brooklynn's PTSD symptoms mirror hers.

At first the diagnosis feels really heavy, like Brooklynn doesnt know what to do with this word hovering over her but Yaz essentially sponsors her and helps her find a therapist that Brooklynn likes.

Sammy convinces Brooklynn to start Journaling. Pen and paper, analog, journaling that helps give her a break from screens.

Brooklynn starts fixing her sleep schedule post BioSyn, she also gives up energy drinks (she refuses to give up coffee tho) and tries to heat better, which is all made easier with Yaz, Sammy, and Kenji around.

She starts doing Yoga in the morning with Yaz. That's their one-on-one time, even though Yaz hates Yoga (she's more a calisthenics girlie, but Brooklynn begged and she caved.) She kinda enjoys talking with Brooklynn in the morning. It's their sister time your honor.

Sammy and Kenji teach Brooklynn how to cook. Kenji mostly since he doesn't get as nervous as Sammy when Brooklynn picks up a knife.

Sammy and Brooklynn do night checks if the barn animals together and that's their sister time.

Brooklynn has the hardest time giving up candy, so Sammy tries to teach her how to make homemade vegetarian friendly, low sugar options. Brooklynn has dubbed this witchcraft.

It becomes their weekly tradition to try a new treat recipe each week. Yaz and Kenji are taste testers for their creations.
