Welp, guys, you got me. Guess who just finished watching season two of Supernatural? Gahh...
So you'd like to babble about... Sam?What are your thoughts?
Sammy! Why can't anyone write you in main-arc episodes?!
But! I don't have the exact line in front of me, and I have yet to will the energy to download the episode, but he commented about destiny/legacy last night, which got me thinking about Sam in general. Like, Dean might be the champion of free will and always as been, but with Sam still thinking that he's only going to be a hunter forever and now knowing his father had a legacy tied to the supernatural? What if he starts thinking that he was actually born to do this, and he's just running away from his fate? This is not the first time we've seen Sam kind of just let things go when he was tired (emotionally, though physically too): He's perfectly willing to die in 7x17, because he assumes that's the consequences of returning from Hell where Lucifer used as a chew toy. So what if Sam, who thinks his life with Amelia was a dream, "wakes up" to the idea that, actually, there is such thing as destiny and he's living it.
... I hope that made sense. I think I did ramble. Maybe I'll inspire discussion. I like discussion.
I have like, three Sam icons saved that I could conceivably use but I can't decide on one
