Downtown East have just completed the expansion of Wild Wild Wet to double its size and this means more fun and activities for everyone!

Specially this month, they are holding an exciting promotion for everyone, the Seeing Double promotion. It is so easy to participate, all you got to do is come dressed identically with a friend or family member to enjoy double the fun for half the price at their four key offerings in Downtown East – Wild Wild Wet, D’Resort, Orchid Bowl and eXplorerkid.

Last Sunday, 4th June to kickstart the launch of the campaign, they held a major event to attempt the Singapore Book of Records for the  “Largest Gathering of Dress Alike Duos”. It was a successful collaboration with members of the public where we gathered a total of 111 pairs of participants to set the record on that day. It was fascinating to see everyone participate with one heart and one mind.

From 1st June to 30th July 2017,  you can check out this exclusive attraction in Wild Wild Wet, The Woosh. Singapore’s longest inflatable freestyle water slide, where guests can slide down the entire length of 50m from a height of 4.5m in almost any way possible. With dual lanes, you can challenge your friends to compete and see who can slide further along the slide!

Even after the school holidays have ended, Wild Wild Wet will continue to be a source of attraction and fun for kids and adults alike. Home to two newest attractions Royal Flush and Free Fall, Royal Flush is Asia’s first hybrid ride combining the Behemoth BOWL40 and TornadoWAVE for one unique thrilling experience. Free Fall is Singapore’s first near-vertical full-body drop at up to 55km/hr standing at a whooping 6 storeys high!

Of course for the kids, there is the Kidz Zone with miniature rides and slides suitable for them.

The product does not look like that in the picture at all

Instructions:

Apply 15-20 minutes

This is a very straight forward product to be reviewed, so I’ll keep it short. It is definitely light weighted and have a soft and smooth texture. However, if you’re going to compare how the compare is like to the picture at the side of the box, it’s a bit off. It’s scent was minty and medicated at the same time. In fact, it reminds me of the Mopiko ointment. When using the product, I felt that the product was more creamy then of a water splash finish. On top of that, it does still feel greasy after allowing it to dry for 20 minutes. Giving it a benefit of a doubt, I guessed i probably put too much of it on on my face. 

All in all I would give Cathy Doll’s Invisible Sun Protection SPF33 PA+++ 2 and a half IreviewUread smiles.

This look so adorable and small! It looked and felt like it was made for a kid - with the pastel colour and small cushion and sponge. Alarmingly, the sponge does not felt like the normal anti bacterial kind in the cushion foundation, but I may be wrong for it was so small. 

One thing I hate about this design is the mirror. It was planted so in depth to the cover of the cushion compact that it’s practically useless. 

I don’t know what is this. Like why is the seal’s glue so stuck? Why? 

All that was forgotten when I started to use the product for I love it. Here’s a summary of what it actually does:

Cathy Doll’s Moteru Gel Liner Pot; Geisha #01 Black

Aims to:

Soft Texture, Easy to draw

Can be applied along both upper and lower eyelids

Long lasting

Waterproof

Oil-control

Can be used on upper and lower lids

The brush of the eye liner is definitely a tiny bit longer then other brushes and it is indeed softer - suitable to use on the eyelids. However, the brush was also too thick to draw a normal fleek cat eye.

Although the pigmentation of the eyeliner is rather strong, I hated the formula. The eye liner kept smudging on my eye lids, causing the application to be horrible. In addition to that, whenever I try to double up my liner, the bottom line which I have previously drew and dried was erased away when I swipe my brush over it. In short instead of having a thicker and darker liner, all I see now was the skin. 

Next, when I finally have my liner in place and not having it doubling over my upper eyelids, there seemed to be clumps all over my face which seemed to be the dried eyeliner. I believed the dried eyeliner is the remains of my attempt to darken the first layer and the liner was suddenly gone. 

Aside from that, it is not oil proof. 4 to 5 hours after I came back from Geylang Serai, my eye liner have not only smudged everywhere but some parts of it have disappeared (refer to my vlog for the image). This is the most annoying eyeliner which I’ve used and I would not recommend it to people living in hot countries or have oily lids.

Cathy Doll’s 3D Face Forward Nefertiti Contour Kit Nefertiti Weapon

Nefertiti (Na-fur-ti-ti) Weapon (Light skin with yellow undertones)

Sphinx Seduction (Suitable for two skin types)

If you are not aware, Nefertiti and Cleopatra were queens of Egypt and Sphinx is actually a half human half lion. Thus, I was thinking, maybe they could have named the third kit under a queen name and not a thing (monster).

Oh and that crown you see on the box? Queen Nefertiti have to shave her head to wear that crown! 

Anyways, enough of Egyptian history, back to the kit. 

Aims to:

3 dimensional look in 3 seconds

Defined appearance

Softer Jaw Line

Slimmer nose

Honestly speaking, I like the aesthetic of the box better than the actual product itself. To me, I felt that the product look rather cheap where the box looked enticing. 

As seen from above the contour kit contain a thin horizontal mirror, a bronzer, a highlighter an a blusher. 

I felt that the bronzer was the perfect shade for me while the highlighter was a little too light. I love the blusher for its more of a peachy colour than pink. 

All of the 3 powders were very pigmented, shiny and long lasting. On top of that it is sweat proof. However, like other shimmery powders, try not to touch your face too often for it will cause shimmer to transfer to your hands.  

Therefore, I would give the Cathy Doll’s 3D Face Forward Nefertiti Contour Kit Nefertiti Weapon 4 and a half IreviewUread smiles.

Cathy Doll’ C'est Bon Bon Cushion Blusher #1 Chewy Berry

The cushion provide is the same one as the AA cushion. So, i doubt that this is anti-bacterial as well. However I do like the packaging of the blusher for it’s simple and cute. 

I love the smell of the product, it is a fusion of sweet berries and flowers. The product also felt moisturizing and it’s long lasting. I do not really like the colour for I felt it was too pink for me. On top of that, the cushion does not help in making the blusher more natural. Thus, when you’re using this do use a beauty blender to blend the blush. 

Therefore, I would give the Cathy Doll’ C'est Bon Bon Cushion Blusher #1 Chewy Berry 2 and a half IreviewUread smiles.
