Samsung Alpha, iPhone 6, or Samsung Galaxy s5?
I currently have an iPhone 4S.
1) I have a MacBook Pro. I have my phone and computer synced rather well. All my iMessages show up on my computer and it's really convenient.
Although to be fair, I can still iMessage people from my computer if I get a Samsung phone it will just be from an email and not a phone # like how it's set up now)
I want to be able to get photos off of my phone and onto my computer. I had an HTC phone before getting my iPhone 2 years ago; When I plugged my phone into my computer, the only thing that happened was that the phone charged. My computer didn't even recognize it as a storage device let alone an HTC.
The same goes for music. How would I put music on an Android phone from a Mac?
3) I take a lot of pictures.
I know droids win this area by a land slide. The screen resolution on a Samsung device is so much better an Apple one. The cameras on an iPhone are still an 8MB where as the Samsung Alpha I believe is a 12MB, and it's higher on the s5.
I'm not even going to get super into this. Droids obviously. An iPhone will have a good battery life for a while. Although, and this info comes from Apple itself-You get so many charges before the battery in your iPhone starts to diminish. After those charges, your phone basically needs a new battery ($79.99) and it's a slippery slope from there-
my phone "dies" all the time even though it'll be at 50% or so, but upon plugging it in, it will turn back on at the 50%. It will be at 70% or so and then jump to 1%. But it won't actually die or anything, it'll say it's at 1% and then "die". Give it a few minutes and you can turn it back on and it'll be in the 30s.
It's incredibly frustrating, and most likely to happen two years down the road if not sooner with all these iOS updates. New updates fry the batteries in the old devices. Newer software with older hardware. That combination is never good.
So I'm frustrated with iPhones really.
But the convenience of having one is so strong.
I don't know much about droids. I had an HTC One X for a while and it was a really good phone-aside from not being able to plug it into my computer to get stuff off of it, and the size.
That phone was SO big and I have really small hands. Like way smaller than average cause I myself, am way smaller than average.
So I was opting for the Alpha since it's a smaller make than the s5's,
But the Alpha just...isn't as good as an s5. I know the S5 is all the craze, and with my experience with Smartphones, buying something not up to snuff right away screws you in the long run. Or is that just iphone?
Is the Alpha still a decent phone? Should I just go with an S5? Or should I stick with iPhone since everything I have is Apple?
