Samurai Lloyd au:

Back in s1, it was Garmadon that saved Lloyd and not Kai. Feeling truly outcasted by everyone but his father, Lloyd joins his father’s side and trains as a samurai.

Garmadon is convinced by Lloyd to not be consumed by the overlord (for now) and they take over ninjago together. Lloyd becomes his second hand man and is Garmadon’s voice of reason

The guilt that Kai carries for not saving Lloyd eats him alive and the ninja eventually separate after failing to save ninjago.

Over a decade later, Misako eventually spills the beans that their son is the destined chosen one, and Garmadon grows restless.

The Garmadon Regime goes to war with the Cloud Kingdom, which allows a little ghost with a green streak to make his way back into the mortal world.
