Reason Behind URL: when i was younger, my self-insert character had a fox for a familiar. He was a kitsune, so nine-tails, and his elemental powers were over ice. it just kind of stuck. Close Enough

Close enough This bed is not the right size, or shape or softness, But it is close enough. There is space here, for you, if we press our bodies close enough. There is room were the curve of your back meets the curve of my belly, and the fit, close enough. There is a giggle and tickle, with the way your heels brush against the tops of my toes, as your feet get close enough. There is room for you, and me and us, as you grind your butt against my pelvis, you are getting close enough. I wrap my arm around your side, and guide my fingers across your chest, not quite touching, but close enough. I trace the curves, the lines, the dots on your body, going down, never stopping, never slowing, but close enough. I feel the bumps on your pubic mound, you keep it shaved just for you, but I have learned to love it. I stretch my fingers down and down, just barely brushing the nearer end of your penis. You do not stir,but shiver, close enough. I trace my way back up your form. And you take my hand in yours. Or fingers do not fit together, but they fit close enough. Yeah, I’ve noticed that some characters’ dialogue glitches out, so that they keep telling you to do stuff they’ve already done…Brynjolf is one of those. Keeps telling you he has work to do even after you’ve saved the Guild.

Yesss. It happens with the Companions, too.

Guards will be like, "So you're that new member of the Companions. So you, what, fetch the mead?"

And I'm like... the fucking Harbinger of the Companions. And a werewolf. So take that, Whiterun Guard.

What's your opinion on GURPS? I keep wanting to run a game set in modern times with no magic and GURPS seems like the obvious choice for it, but I took a look at the 3e rules for it and they seem like rocket science compared to my comfortable old D20 roots.

Oh, GURPS. GURPS was one of the first games I played, and it's... It's interesting to me, and it's so wide-open in what you can use it for, but it's so complicated. And kinda deadly, as RPGs go. Which, you know, real life can be. I haven't played it often, what I really love SJ Games for is the insanely amazing sourcebooks they put out to go with GURPS, I'll read some of those just for entertainment.

What kind of setting are you planning on running? You might want to go the other direction in terms of complexity and check out the Fate system used in Spirit of the Century and the Dresden Files RPG- I think it's fantastic, though they haven't put out the 3rd Edition, as far as I know.

Your Skyrim posts amuse me to no end. I'm only lvl 12, but I keep running into weird stuff too. This game is amazing.

Isn't it awesome? :] I always end up liveblogging when I'm playing, haha. It's so buggy sometimes but it's worth it. (Plus some of the bugs are hilarious.)

I'm lvl 48 on my current character. My first character I got to lvl 40 or so and then the Companions questline got busted on that save file so I decided to start up a new character anyway. I tried making a Dunmer and an Argonian character, but I keep ending up going back to the Khajiit. It's just my favorite character type to play.
