#Inspire It's been 10 years since I started dancing. I remember thinking how I had 2 left feet and I couldn't move, the only thing I could dance to was Lil Jon's "snap your fingers" (Remember the guy who just screamed in other people's videos and that was him featuring. If there are some lessons I have learnt over the years, these are some of them. 1. Be humble. 2. No one cares how good you are unless you can influence their lives directly. 3. The work you do behind the scenes determines the 20% or less that people see 4. Be persistent and never give up 5. Celebrate the past, enjoy the present but have a vision for the future. It's the vision, not the success that keeps us going. Above all, for me, it's for the glory of God. #Inspire Last year I had the chance to work on a project with @Evynmurry. He isn't just a great mentor in dance but he has also been able to put my thoughts into pictures. This image represents a man on a journey. I love how the background has some darkness and he is walking into the light. Also, though the road is long, he is taking a step at a time. And so is life. There's so much negativity and darkness that we face. Just last year I personally had a battle, with hate and anger and bitterness. But how we choose to react to it matters. We can choose to stay in the darkness, or we can choose to keep moving forward. We may have to cut off toxic people from our lives if it means peace of mind. Because at the end of the day, the journey is yours to walk.
