10. What are some facts readers may not know about id swing with you for the fences? hmm.

i have an entire list of songs i wanted to use that didn’t make it in.

i have the entire timeline of stevie and rachels relationship planned out (and will maybe one day write that compaction fic).

i drew out the layouts of davids penthouse (based on an old clients tribeca apt) and patricks condo because otherwise i am horrible with directions and describing movement through a space.

my favorite scene from the whole fic was cut (one between patrick and moira) because it just didn’t work and it’s tragic.

i wrote the rose gala scene and had to cut that too because it was awkward in the timeline.

oh! originally, after rachel showed up, ted commented “you didn’t know?” and alexis was mad at him for not telling them that patrick had a fiancée so she kicked him out of the car and made him call an uber. i was sad to cut that one, but i wanted to make it clearer to everyone that rachel was his ex.

this kinda just turned into a list of deleted scenes because i don’t have many other facts oops

For your consideration, just to circle back to the dog biscuit thing.

What if after MTP, our boys go on an honesty kick and they stay up late one night being honest about things and David’s like “for the sake of honesty and not omitting things, I ate a dog biscuit right before I told you I loved you and kissed you”

Patricks like “okay I think there’s some things we don’t need to tell each other and that’s it”
