My Mishalecki photo op story from #JIB8
Where do I start? It was a hectic weekend. This was on Sunday, I was in lines all day. So when it was time for the photo op I was maybe too tired to be nervous :D But I was definitely excited. I knew it was going to be very quick so I tried to stay in the moment but at the same time not keep people behind me waiting.
I came up to them and said ‘hi’ and all that. And then I said “Can I have a rib-crashing hug?” and Misha said “Don’t say that”. He sounded so genuine I immediately reconsidered my life choices :D. I quickly went up to Jared and hugged him and then Misha came behind me. He was trying to decide where to put his hands and he accidentally (I think) touched my boobs :D and then quickly lowered his hands. No one mentioned anything. The pic was snapped. And then as we all started to let go, Jared said “Wait! One more, one more!”. Of course I didn’t mind that at all. The longer the hug the better, right? And that’s when Jared got into position, grabbed my arms and started pulling me towards him and at the same time pushing me towards Misha with his entire body. And then Misha started doing the same thing. And they went back-and-forth for a few seconds before the pic was snapped.
Lots of things were going through my mind, I started smiling from ear to ear and tried not to laugh so I don’t ruin the pic. I knew my face would look weird but it would capture the moment perfectly. And that’s what happened.
They were tired and Jared may have been a little hung over but it made for a great moment. And I love that Jared asked for a retake so he could give me a stronger hug! <3
I’m so in love with these two! They made my weekend (duh!) and I couldn’t ask for anything more. I know it doesn’t seem as special as other PO stories but I will cherish it forever!
A few JIB8 highlights
My Matt Photo op story from #JIB8
This was a looong time coming! I saw him at Vancon 2015 but only now I could get a photo op with him.
It was my last photo op of the weekend. I was standing in line for the J2M autos when I heard the last photo op session with Matt has begun so I ran there. I knew I had to get back in line soon so I tried to focus on the moment. I went up to him, said ‘hi’ and gave him a hug and then asked if he could hug me from behind. He said ‘of course’ with that big smile on his face. I felt so safe and calm. He does that to you. I thanked him with all my heart and seeing him look back at me with the same love, it made me feel important and... enough... which basically only happens to me at cons.
I love this man to death. I can’t believe this happened. He was so nice and graceful during his autograph session too. You can feel his love for the SPNFamily ever second of the day.
Also, I had no idea he was taking a time lapse video during his last photo op session. What a great surprise. I made it into one of his videos. This proves how much he loves doing this.

My J2M autograph stories from #JIB8
First it was Misha (I think). I was in line for so long and so much has happened I can’t even remember exactly what happened during Misha’s autograph session! I swear, did it really happen? I know I came up to him and we did the usual exchange ‘hi. how are you?’ and all that. Then he signed his name and then added my name to personalise it. I know he smiled at me and looked into my eyes. I wanted to say something else but I forgot (you understand,right?) and I’m pretty sure we said other stuff too but I have no idea what it was. I feel stupid! :D
Then it was Jared. I gave my notebook and my pass to the volunteers they put it on the table and when the fan in front of me left, there was someone else who cut in front of me somehow and I just said “wait, that’s mine” :D (I sure hope no one was offended, I didn’t say it in a mean way). Jared said “Ok” with a big grin! He took the notebook and signed the cover because it has Sammy!Moose on it. He immediately said “I love your shirt” (the I Am Enough one). I got so excited he started the conversation. I thanked him and said “I love it too. I have all of them and I love them”. He smiled and said “cool!” then of course, in classic Jared style, he looked into my eyes, winked and gave me a big smile and I was over the moon. We thanked each other, said good bye and parted ways. And now I hate myself for not telling him again how much I love him. I always do, but this time I felt rushed and forgot.
Lastly, it was Jensen. He was the last one in the autograph room and he was running waaay over time. When the last people got into the room he stood up and got us all to cheer. He said “Don’t worry, we’ll get through all of these quickly.” Everyone was waiting (tired) and listening to some music playing in the room. When it was my turn he asked how I was doing to which I said ‘great’ and he said ‘fantastic!”. He seemed excited and exhilarated. I was already very happy with the experience, and then I said “Last man standing, huh?” and he looked up at me with a huge grin on his face and said “YES! … ALWAYS!” and he kept on smiling. I think he liked my comment :D. I couldn’t stop smiling myself and then I thanked him and told him I loved him and that was it. That was fun!
