1! Or barring that, how abouttttt 5?
Someone else already got 5, but you can get 1! And @sovinly also asked for that one, so you can both get it in fact!
Ah, my first novel, and by "novel" I mean 42 handwritten wide-ruled pages of a spiral-bound notebook with a kitten on the front, some of which are written in orange gel pen. A middle school teacher, during a unit on fantasy novels, assigned us all to write fantasy stories. I wrote the first two chapters, and when she graded it and enjoyed it, I just kept going!
So, it started with a young woman being used as unicorn bait and deciding to let the unicorn go, but it almost immediately became a story about a young woman who was essentially a vet for magical creatures (she helped a wyvern lay her eggs I think?) but THEN because I was 13 I got bored and there was suddenly a mushroom-based plague that people were blaming her for and things got very melodramatic for a while. And then I got bored of the novel in general and decided the cure for the plague was peanut butter I think??? Unclear on that part. Also she reconnected with a childhood friend and they fell in love.
(There has pretty much always been a "and they fell in love" in a Nell novel, no matter the era.)
