I PROMISED CAKE—so let them eat cake! The question is to GLUTEN FREE or NOT to GLUTEN FREE? In my family, we struggle with food when we travel. My son is wheat & dairy free. I’m constantly looking for destinations that allow us to go from “What CAN he eat?” to “What does he WANT to eat?” That question brings me to today’s game of THIS or THAT. Since I’m always sacrificing in the name knowledge and service to my clients, today I tasted the Red Velvet Cake with Strawberry Filling AND the GLUTEN FREE Red Velvet Cake with Strawberry Filling. THE VERDICT? YUM!! Not only were they both delicious, I forgot which was which requiring me to get 2 more for this picture. The gluten free option was just as moist & flavorful as the “regular” version without that dry, stick to the roof of your mouth feeling that is a common pitfall in gluten free baking. The moral of this story? Don’t be afraid to travel! But do be sure to use an agent like me to does the research for you. I will always feel safe and well fed taking my family to a Sandals & Beaches Resorts where “gluten free”, “vegan” (plus) are not just buzzwords—but built into every menu & every experience with the Global Gourmet concept. #sarahtravelshappy Follow my Travels: Sarah Salter, Travel Specialist #weddingweek #sandalsochi #globalgourmet #glutenfreetravel #accessibilitymatters https://www.instagram.com/p/CR2eKGjsuC6/?utm_medium=tumblr
