If you're getting swirl marks when sanding with a random orbit sander you can usually fix it with one of these three things. 1. The sander isn't making good contact. Make sure the sander isn't wobbling, skipping, or jumping. 2. You're being too aggressive. Don't push down on the sander. Hold it steady but let the paper do the work. You can also try slow the speed of the sander. 3. Your paper is done. Good morning 🌻 Hope you are enjoying your Wednesday. Out here trying to finish up this desk and wanted to show you a little bit of what 3 hours looks like in the shop😁 Using @gatorfinishing sanding block I hit the 4 coat of varnish with 400 grit then 600 grit, then I use this really awesome tack cloth that seemingly collects everything on the surface!
