Nature Not Photoshop by Victor Allan Via Flickr: After another day of rain and cloud, the clouds on the horizon gave way to a spectacular Sandwood sunset watched by a large (for a remote Scottish beach) crowd drawn by the beauty and driven from the dunes and machair grassland by fearsome quantities of midgies intent on a blood feast having been grounded for three days by high winds. In case you think I have been heavy on the colour and saturation sliders, this picture has not been significantly changed and gives a reasonably accurate representation of the actual colours; nature not photoshop (other imaging software is available).
